PRTV (Peterlee Relational Test Vehicle) is a speculative reimagining of Peterlee, presented through the lens of a municipal retrofuturist organisation tasked with documenting, maintaining and promoting the town. Blending local history, civic infrastructure, public information systems and imagined futures, PRTV explores how narratives shape our understanding of place, identity and community. The world encompasses a growing collection of documents, maps, proposals, artworks and interventions that present Peterlee not as it is, but as it might have been, could become, or perhaps already is.
